Sorry to see, but...


Pulling a Cy Young winner who has a no-hitter going in Game 3 isn't really acceptable either. God knows that I love Dusty, but he managed the Nats right out of that game and -- by extension -- a series that really should have been within their grasp.

Probably just as well. Hard to imagine that the NL East will ever be as crappy again as it was this year, and that covered all manner of sins. Combination of aging players, pennywise ownership, and improved competition will make that particular job a lot more challenging within a very short time span, IMO.
